Pac-Man-Mobile

Industriedesignerin SaltyandSweet verkauft in ihrem Etsy-Shop selbstgemachte Mobiles. Besonders gefällt mir das Pac-Man-Exemplar.
"Watch as your player dodges Blinky and Inky while chasing the ever-elusive cherry in this ode to Pacman mobile. This will probably be the least-stressful game of Pacman that you will every play. Humbug to the newer iterations of Pac-Man: here you see him in all his pixelated glory." NEW Pac-Man mobile (mehr Fotos)

"Personal project imagining a how Facebook would have looked on an old fashioned computer in 1984, using a pixelated DOS-style font and a heavy use of texture, lighting and reflection. The 'Home' screen displays various updates from users which relate to the time period. For example, note 'updated via Analog Motorola' instead of an iPhone or Blackberry." X-Copy Shrine

YouTubeDirektFlashback

"A long time ago, when computers still used floppy disks, there was a need to duplicate the contents of these floppies. X-Copy was one of the most well known disk copying programs for the Commodore Amiga ... The disk images you can find here have been taken from the actual master disks, to preserve the legacy as authentically as possible ... The current copyright owner has graciously allowed the releases to be archived here, as long as they are not sold for any amount of money, or included in any collection/product that is sold for any amount of money."

HTML5-Browser-Game: Biolab Disaster

"For an 80s-themed Halloween party, I wanted a costume that was unique, incorporated technology, and would be fun for fellow partygoers. I’d been toying with the idea of making a mini arcade machine for my game room, so I decided to come up with one that I could also wear as my costume. What follows is a guide to making your own wearable Pac-Man that guarantees you’ll be the life of the costume party. It’s fun to build and to wear. And I’ve since converted it to a bar-top arcade machine, so this costume can play long after the Halloween parties are over." Playable Pac-Man Costume

Vintage TV-Videospielwerbung aus den 80ern

YouTubeDirektWerbung

The Alderaan Trail: Oregon Trail meets Star Wars

"A long time ago in a galaxy pretty far away... As a galactic civil war rages on, the escalating violence in your system has reached new heights. Seeking a better life you and a small band of compatriots set out on a perilous journey to find a new home. Alderaan, a small blue planet know for it's civility ( it is said by many that they have no weapons) would make the perfect retreat for your loved ones hoping to avoid Imperial entanglements. Untold danger awaits you on..." Matt Marchini: THE ALDERAAN TRAIL

Halo 2600

"In all of my photographs I play the characters because I relate easy and it's much more interesting like this. The 8 bit objects that I've created are made from polyester and painted on with acrylic" LOW - REz LIFE (part 1)

Vintage Kinderbuch: The Stars of Famicom Games – How Video Games are Made

"I picked up a children's picture book at the local library recently. Some of you might be thinking, "Why would you take out a Japanese picture book? Are your Japanese language skills that atrophied?" Well, this happened to be a very special book, because it showed kids how Nintendo games are made, from start to finish. With some fantastically juicy pictures! And not only that, the game it focussed on was Super Mario Bros. 3! The book was published in late 1989, based on a tour and interview session at Nintendo of Japan in July of that same year (this will become evident in a later picture). They interview Shigeru Miyamoto, Koji Kondo, all the major players in Nintendo's games. The Stars of Famicom Games – How Video Games are Made
